Hand knit tam pattern, simplified for any size head.  Designed with handspun yarn in mind, it can be made with any yarn you have on hand.  This tam is beautiful plain or with a fair isle accent and takes approximately 400 yards of yarn for the average woman's size.  An adobe Acrobat PDF file is available below.

custom dyed wool.  The fair isle technique used is the "two handed" woven technique which weaves every other stitch leaving
no long floats between colors.  Hats can be ordered with your choice of colors.   Each hat is a "one-of-a-kind" design made with loving care.
