Hand knit mitten pattern is easy and versatile.  It can be made for every person in your family.   You will need approximately 400 yards of yarn for typical woman's mittens and double pointed needles of a size to make the fabric density you prefer.  BP Farms knitters prefer wool or mohair because it has stretch and memory.  The pattern has no thumb gussets so it is suitable for average knitters who are comfortable with double pointed needles and knitting in the round.  There is a simple fair isle design included to try with your mittens.  For fleece stuff mittens, knit in a lock or fluff of wool for each of the white boxes on the graph.  Have fun with the pattern.
