Materials:
Bone ring any size,
found at Wal-mart with the crochet hooks.
For childrens clothes I use
1/2 or 5/8 For adult they have larger
ones.
Directions:
Leave a 5" tail to start,
single crochet all around to completly cover the ring.
Join in the first
crochet. Leave about 12" tail.
With a double eye ndl or regular needle weave
in and out of the crochet stitch all the way around. You have to be carefull
next not to break yarn.
With your long tail gather the crochet sts. by
pulling on the tail. Then push it in the center of the ring.
Use the rest of
the tail to sew it on . I use latch tool to pull the beginning tail thru the
back of the
band and knot it with the other tail.
On the childrens
clothes I do one button of every color in the sweater.
These rings come in
all sizes.
