TOP-DOWN BEANIE BABY SWEATER
~ Teena Crawshaw, Raleigh NC, USA
tinee-creations@mindspring.com

This little sweater is one of  Teena's craft show items and a big seller.

My little teddy is not a famous Beanie, but I thought it was cute so I bought it.  He's made out of terry cloth and filled with beans.    His official name is Luv Pet ~ Russ Berrie, U.K. LTD.   For reference, it is 7" tall from the top of his head to the bottom of his feet.    He's 3" wide  across the back.    The sweater, as written below, was too big for him so before I sewed it up, I took 8 rows off the sleeves and 12 rows off the body.   Now it fits perfect.   So, before you sew your little sweater up, try it on your toy.   Those of you with embroidery machines might want to put a tiny little motif on the sweater before you sew it up.   I put balloons on one of them,  AREN'T THEY CUTE?
